Ford thought that by simply plunking a "5.0" badge on the flanks of its 2011 Mustang GT it was going to breathe new life into the less-and-less iconic muscle car — and it was right! The new V8 engine (all 302 cubic inches of it) pumps out a remarkable 412 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque while still returning an impressive 25 mpg on the highway. And it looks absolutely gorgeous nestled in the engine bay. Things get even better if you're a gearhead — you can now have real toys like Brembo brakes and sportier suspension.
